Welcome to the Computer God!!! BBS Online Space MMORPG Gaming web site. The next generation of online gaming. If you are new to the site welcome to the site and the new look. I have been running Computer God!!! BBS since the 1991. A lot of people have asked me if the name of the site is an ego trip or just a plain statement. And the truth is neither. I actually got the name for the BBS when I heard a song from Black Sabbath called "Computer God" This was during the Black Sabbath years when Ronnie James Dio was the vocalist. For those of you that follow the Black Sabbath history the band is now called Heaven and Hell. I fell in love with the lyrics and that is how the Computer God!!! BBS was born. I have run other software in the past such as Renegade, Shotgun, WWIV, Oblivian/2, Iniquity BBS and many others. The BBS is currently running "Synchronet BBS Software v3.15" for it's SMTP, POP3, NNTP, Telnet, FTP, IRC, functions. I have recently switched the HTTP server to "Apache" as the standard webserver and MySQL as the database backend in order to get some webgame projects up and running.

I am currently looking for other php or cgi games to put up on the the site. While I will continue to run the system as a BBS system that does not change the fact that this is and will be a game site. It's one of the things that BBS systems were intended for.
