It is a turn based balancing game (the 1st game has 30 turns per day) in which you have to balance your empire to make it grow: economy, military, tourism, production, pollution etc. Take it from me: it isn't as easy as it sounds: I lost my first 3 empires when trying to figure out how to play this game.
And to make it more fun: you are only protected the 1st day. After that you can start attacking other empires.
